These terms apply to your use of this website and to any move, delivery, collection or furniture removal you book with us. Please read them before you book. By booking a job, you agree to these terms.

1. About Us

2. Quotes

• Our quotes are based on the information you give us, including the items to be moved, both addresses, access (stairs, lifts, parking) and the date.
• Prices on this website are guide prices (“from” prices). Your actual price is the one we agree with you before you book.
• If the job turns out to be different from what you told us, for example extra items, or access or parking problems we weren’t told about, we may need to change the price. We’ll always talk to you before doing any extra work.

3. Bookings

• A booking is confirmed once we’ve agreed the price, date and time with you.
• We recommend booking at least two days in advance. We’ll always try to fit in short-notice jobs, but we can’t guarantee availability.
• Arrival times are estimates. We’ll keep you updated if we’re held up by traffic or an earlier job running over.

4. Changes and Cancellations

If you need to change or cancel your booking, please let us know as early as possible. Any charges for late changes or cancellations will be explained to you when you book.

5. Payment

Payment is due as agreed when you book. We’ll confirm how and when to pay before the job.

6. Your Responsibilities

• Give us accurate information about what needs moving and about access at both addresses.
• Make sure you have the right to move the items and to give us access to both properties.
• Arrange any parking permits, parking suspensions, lift bookings or loading bay slots that are needed.
• Make sure items are ready to go: boxes packed and sealed, freezers defrosted, and washing machines and other appliances disconnected and drained.
• Keep cash, jewellery, important documents, medication and other valuables with you rather than in the van.
• Make sure you or someone you’ve authorised is at both addresses.

7. Items We Can’t Move

We can’t carry anything illegal, dangerous or hazardous, including flammable liquids, gas bottles, chemicals and explosives. Our furniture removal service is for furniture and household items only. We don’t take general waste, rubbish or garden waste.

8. Furniture Assembly

Where agreed, we’ll take apart and rebuild furniture such as beds, wardrobes and tables. Some flat-pack furniture isn’t designed to be taken apart and put back together and can weaken when it is. We’ll take care, but we’re not responsible for damage caused by the condition, age or design of an item.

9. Insurance, Damage and Claims

• Your belongings are insured while they’re in our care, subject to the terms of our insurance.
• Please check your items when they’re delivered. If anything is damaged or missing, tell us as soon as possible, ideally on the day, with photos.
• We’re not responsible for damage to items you packed yourself unless the box itself was mishandled, or for existing damage, wear and tear, or loss caused by events outside our control.
• Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that can’t be limited by law. Your statutory rights as a consumer aren’t affected.

10. Delays

We’re not responsible for delays or failure to carry out a job because of things outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, road closures, accidents, vehicle breakdowns, or delays in completing a property sale or handing over keys.

11. Complaints

If you’re not happy with our service, please contact us straight away so we can try to put it right.

12. Using This Website

• We try to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but we don’t guarantee that it’s complete or error-free. Prices and information can change.
• The content, design and images on this website belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy them for commercial use without our permission.
• Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We’re not responsible for their content.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you book is the one that applies to your job.

14. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
